Happy New Year (and sorry for the dearth of posts)! Here is something simple and stylish to start your 2012 on the right fashion note. During my winter holiday I was inspired by Ines de La Fressange’s book, Parisian Chic, to not only reconnect with some style basics - classic trench, mariniere top, straight leg jeans, black pumps - but to incorporate *pretty* into my look. For me, pretty is about pleasing shapes, comfortable fabrics, classic pieces, and a swipe of Chanel lipstick, bien sûr.
